Bandhini Return Policy

We are happy to exchange your Bandhini item if you change your mind after receiving. However, returns for refund are only accepted for faulty items.

You must request a return within 7 days of receiving your item/s. The item/s must be in original condition, with the original packaging and tags still attached. Item/s must not have been used, washed or altered in any way. Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

BANDHINI DOES NOT OFFER RETURNS OR REFUNDS ON SALE ITEMS.

Items returned as faulty will be either repaired, replaced or refunded depending on the severity of the default and at the discretion of Bandhini to decide the severity of the fault and the means in which it will be resolved.

As a small, environmentally conscious company supplying handmade items and committed to reducing waste, we will generally opt to repair your item whenever possible. If repair is not possible and we have the item or one similar in stock we will opt to exchange, if neither of these options are possible we provide you with a full refund for your faulty item.

In order for this return policy to apply, the item must have been:

- manufactured by Bandhini Homewear Design;

- sold directly by Bandhini Homewear Design and requires proof of purchase;

- used in a normal domestic environment, and not a commercial environment;

- not subject to abuse, improper treatment, neglect or misuse; and

- maintained and cleaned in accordance with our instructions and/or recommendations;

Fair wear and tear is not covered by this return policy. Including slight fading after washing or items left in the sun. Please be aware that natural features of stone, leather and timber include variation in pattern and colour shade. We will do our best to match colours but some variation is to be expected and not covered by this return policy.

Faulty Items

Please note that when dealing with hand made items and naturally dyed items, there will always be a degree of imperfection in each design. If you believe your item is faulty, you will be asked to submit photographs of the fault within 7 days of receiving your order. It is up to the discretion of Bandhini to determine whether or not this is a legitimate fault.

Typically, small printed imperfections and dye lot variations are not considered a fault and will not result in a refund or exchange. In the event the item is deemed faulty, we will replace the item if it is in stock. Failing that, we will issue you a full refund for your purchase. All returned merchandise must be unused, unwashed and in its original packaging with tags intact.

My item meets the above criteria, how do I return?

Before sending any return items, please ensure you have requested a return via email (customerservice@bandhinidesign.com). We strongly recommend that you use a registered shipping method, so that you can track your order, Bandhini cannot be held liable for items that are lost in transit.

All items must be received to our main office & warehouse in Gold Coast, Australia before the refund is processed. Please note that once your return is delivered to our warehouse it can take up to 5 business days for processing. The refund will be made to the credit card used for the original purchase.

Orders & Stock

Items which list 'Pre-Order' instead of 'In Stock' on their product page generally incur a 2-4 week lead time. Occasionally items are incorrectly listed as 'In Stock' on our website. We apologise if this situation does occur and will contact you immediately to work out a solution. We can suggest similar items that are in stock to  exchange for the out of stock item, put the item on back order if it is due to be back in stock soon, or you may request a refund for the out of stock item.

For stock enquiries you may email us at customerservice@bandhinidesign.com and we can provide approximate lead times on requested items. Please note that the current international shipping situation is difficult to predict and lead times given are approximate.

Cancellations

Please choose carefully as cancellations are generally not accepted. All artwork orders are strictly no cancellation as they are all custom made and framed.

If you have a specific deadline to receive your items please call our head office or email us at customerservice@bandhinidesign.com prior to ordering to ensure your items can be processed and dispatched in time. 


Excessive Returns

We monitor returns and exchanges to identify potential abuse or misuse of our return & exchange policies. Continued returns or exchanges will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion.
