Sale price$291.00

Designed and sewn in-house at our Tallebudgera Valley HQ, the Kilim Raffia cushions are available in only limited quantities. Cut from a small run of fabric sourced directly from the artisans, the 100% organic cotton pattern has been hand-woven and hand-dyed by a collective of Indonesian women weavers whose craft has been passed down for many generations.

These large lounge cushions feature a decorative kilim motif in two rich brown shades which are perfectly complimented by the natural texture of our signature chocolate raffia. Pair them together as a feature or team them with a selection of backing cushions from our Woven range to create a stunning focal point in your room.

FAQ

Handmade products that last

Our craft is hand-loomed and hand-made and without the use of industrial machinery. We design products that last, to be handed down from one generation to the next. We consciously avoid waste created from fast-fashion production.

We recycle and reuse our packaging, our art is boxed in cartons that our cushions arrive in. We strive for a paperless office and any off-cut fabrics are recycled and repurposed.

We wish for our products to give many generations joy and comfort, then gently return to the earth with our love and gratitude.

We support traditional artisans

We have a strong focus on ethical labour. We work with our crafts people to stay in their local villages, ensuring they are not displaced for work.

We believe that without the support, many ancient crafts will become extinct in the near future as generations move from craft based production into petro-chemical production.

Thats why we are making it our mission to keep craftsmanship alive.

We use upcycled and natural materials

We incorporate sustainably sourced and upcycled elements in our designs, appreciating the beauty nature provides and ensuring we have a low impact on the environment. So as you would find in nature, each piece is unique and no two are the same.

30 years experience!

We are a small family business specialising in textile design since 1993.
