Do your cushions covers come with inserts?
Yes, all full-price orders within Australia of our Lounge, Medium & Lumbar cushions covers come with a complimentary ethically sourced feather insert valued at $32 RRP (excluding sale items). Our Euro, Long Lumber & Outdoor covers come standard with a Dacron insert with the option to upgrade to feather.

Our Sham covers are the only ones we sell without an insert. That's because our Sham covers fit any standard pillow size. 

Please note that due to shipping costs, orders outside of Australia include a cushion cover only. 

Why does my insert look flat?
All our feather inserts come vacuumed packed to save on shipping costs. In your parcel you will have an instruction card that shows you how to fluff your feather insert. This will result in the insert tripling in size before your eyes‚ÄĒit's a lot of fun!¬†

How should I wash my Bandhini cushion?
We recommend the safest way to wash your Bandhini cover is by a cold hand wash. For your insert, we recommend leaving it out in the sun for a few hours. For more details on how to clean your covers, including which are the best products to use, visit our Bandhini Care page.

What happens if one of the cover buttons break?
Our covers are all french seamed with recycled coconut buttons. This makes for a beautiful & sustainable finish, but we understand that they are more fragile. If one of you buttons do break you will find a spare in the seam.

If you can't located a spare inside your cover, no worries reach out to our customer service team and we will organise one to be sent to you.


What you might like to know about our Products

Where are your cushions made?
The majority of our cushions are made¬†in India¬†at our Bandhini HQ.¬†Our HQ in India is overseen by¬†the sons of the¬†Narains‚ÄĒone of the founding families of Bandhini. Our Indian HQ acts as our quality control and warehouse for our designs.

We employee artisans from the surrounding villages in India to create our beautiful handmade designs. We then have a driver travel around to these villages to collect the designs. This allows our artisans to stay in their villages to work and not have to relocate away from their families. 

We are very passionate about keeping the ancient traditions of weaving, block & screen printing, embroidery and applique alive. We do our very best to support these village artisans and their families so they can continue to pass these traditional techniques to the new generations. 

We have also recently started producing some of our outdoor and indoor lounge cushions here at our Australian HQ. This has allowed us to support our local artisans. 

What materials do you use for your cushions?
We pride ourselves on producing products using environmentally friendly materials that will allow them to return to the earth. For that reason our fabrics are all natural fibres and are hand dyed with natural dyes.

Do you do custom designs?
Yes as we are a slow fashion company we are very capable of creating small run custom designs. Please get in touch with our customer service team if you do have a custom design you are interested in producing.



What shipping providers do you use?
Our primary shipping courier is Aramex. Below are their estimated delivery times:

We do also use Australia Post and TNT for urgent orders. Please if your order is urgent contact our customer service team so we can organise the quickest delivery option for you.

Do you ship overseas?
Yes we do still ship overseas. Because of the current international shipping climate we recommend contacting us for a shipping quote before placing an order.

I live local, can I collect my order?
If you would prefer to collect your order to cut shipping costs - we are happy to help! Simply email us at with the cushions you are wanting to purchase, the quantities and when you need them by and we will let you know if they are available to collect and when!  

Product Returns

Can I return my purchase if I change my mind?
For change of mind returns we offer exchanges or store credits. We don't offer refunds. We only offer this 7 days after delivery date. 

What is your returns policy?
