Our Product

We endeavour to ensure we accurately describe and showcase our products to the best of our abilities.

There may unfortunately be occasions where our website will contain errors and we reserve the right to correct any errors at anytime, including after you have placed an order.

Due to the nature of our products being handmade and using natural materials, it is expected there will be variations between our product finishes. We promise to try and showcase these discrepancies where possible. If an item is returned based on discrepancy it will be classed as a ‘change of mind return’.



Orders can be placed via our website, email or over the phone. We may, at our discretion, accept or reject an order based on a variety of factors. These include, but are not limited too, product availability or our ability to validate payment.


Pricing & Payment

Our pricing is subject to change without any notice. All prices on our website are exclusive of GST. This will be added to your total at checkout. We endeavour to ensure our pricing is up-to-date on our website. Prices for our products on third party websites are not controlled by Bandhini Design House.

Payment needs to be received in full to secure your order and before we will dispatch.

We except Visa, Mastercard, and Amex (Amex incurs a surcharge). We also offer payment through Afterpay.

While we make every effort to secure your payment method we will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused if your credit card is fraudulently used or used in an unauthorised manner. For more information on how we collect and use your personal information please review our Privacy Policy.


International Orders

All international orders are in USD dollars. For help making an international purchase please email our Customer Service Team customerservice@bandhinidesign.com


Vouchers/Promo Codes, Gift Cards & Store Credits

You may use Vouchers/Promo Codes, Gift Cards and Store Credits as payment for certain products on our website. You cannot use Vouchers/Promo Codes when purchasing Gift Cards. Vouchers/Promo codes are provided by our sales team or via promotional activities. Gift Cards can be purchased on our website and Store Credit is given at our discretion. Vouchers & Promo Codes are only valid for the specified period stated. Gift Cards are valid for 1 year from purchase date. Store Credit is valid 2 years from date of issue.

Bandhini Design House is not responsible if Gift Card or Store Credit is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission. We monitor the use of Vouchers/Promo Codes and Gift Cards. In the event of misuse we may require a different means of payment. Bandhini Design House reserves the right to cancel any Voucher, Promo Code, Gift Card or Store Credit if deemed such action is necessary.


Email Sign Up

Our ‘Email Sign Up’ discount is only applicable for orders made on our website (www.bandhinidesign.com). This discount is limited to one use with no minimum spend.


Custom Made & Made to Order Items

For all custom made & made to order items we require 100% payment to be made before we commence work on the order. Bandhini Design House is not responsible for the delay of delivery due to late payment. It is the customers responsibility to ensure all made to order and customised items meet their requirements. We do not offer refunds for made to order or custom items due to change of mind, please review our Returns Policy.



100% payment is needed to secure backordered stock. If payment is not received and stock runs out the order will be allocated to the next incoming shipment.


Lead Time

We endeavour to provide you with an accurate lead time on our made to order, custom items and backordered stock. Unfortunately circumstances may change beyond our control which may lead to a delay in your order. Delays may be due to shipping schedules, carrier delays and raw material shortages. We do not offer cancellations or refunds due to delays. Bandhini Design House holds no liability for any delays resulting for circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

***Due to the current global shipping crisis and the impact of Covid in India we are experiencing longer lead times than usual. We promise to keep you up-to-date when we receive information on your order. We also ensure as soon as stock arrive it is dispatched with 24hrs.***



All ordered will be dispatched once full payment has been received. Delivery of a product is subject to availability. Please check with our Customer Service Team on product availability and lead-times.

Freight is an additional charge that is added to the invoice for payment. It is the customers responsibility to check all shipping information is correct on the order. For courier transport you will receive tracking information for the delivery. Due to the nature of courier transport, we encourage you to have “Authority to Leave” on your booking. If “Authority to Leave” is not provided, there may be an additional redelivery fee for failed deliveries.



We check all products before they are dispatched to ensure the order leaves our warehouse according to the Bandhini standards. All products should be inspected upon arrival for any damages and noted on the delivery paperwork and photographs taken. If any item is received damaged we need to be notified in 48hrs so we can assist in resolving the situation. Some damages maybe due to transportation and Bandhini Design House is not at fault or responsible in these instances.

Because we are a business focused on sustainable practices we might opt to repair the damages instead of offering a replacement. This decision is at the discretion of Bandhini Design House.


Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Only faulty or damaged products may be returned for a refund at the discretion of Bandhini Design House. Any returns must be made with 7 days of delivery. We do not offer refunds on made to order, custom orders or for ‘change of mind’. In these instances a store credit or exchange maybe issued. Please review our full Returns Policy.


Limited Warranty

Bandhini Design House offers a 7 day warranty period from date of sale. Please keep your invoice for proof of purchase.



Due to the nature of our products being handmade using natural materials, it is expected there will be irregularities between colours, shapes and prints of our products. There may also be small imperfections, this is part of the charm of our products.

Our cushion covers are all French seamed with recycled coconut buttons. This makes for a beautiful and sustainable finish, but we understand that they are more fragile. For this reason we provide a spare button in the seam of all our covers. If you can't located a spare inside your cover, please reach out to our customer service team and we will organise one to be sent to you.
